Yosuke received his Ph.D. in Theoretical Chemistry from Princeton University in 2006 after completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He was a BNNI Post-doctoral Scholar at the University of California at Berkeley, and he subsequently worked at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory as a Lawrence Fellow in Condensed Matter and Materials Division prior to joining the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a Fellow of the American Physical Society.
